Detail Itinerary

Day 01Upon arrival at Kathmandu,Backpacker Expedition Treks Pvt. Ltd will be your trustworthy travel companion until you depart for your home country. We will accommodate our valued customers in the three-star hotel in Kathmandu. We take care of the room and breakfast of our valued customers during their stay in Kathmandu Valley.

Day 02Drive to Pokhara (820m / 2,690ft) west of the Kathmandu ValleyThe six hours drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara in the selected luxurious vehicle gives you the trailers of things to come in our journey. As we set our journey from the Valley i.e. Kathmandu down along the Trishuli and Marshyangdi river amidst green forests to the Lake city on the lap of Himalayas. The Pokhara City excites you with the ultra urban atmosphere to the natural setting.

Day 03Drive From Pokhara to Nayapul /Birethanti /Tikhedhunga (1,570m). Trek to Ulleri (1,540m / 5,050ft)From Nayapul onwards the trek starts until Tikhedhunga on this day. The trek takes you to the Tirkhedhunga covering the small riverside town Birethanti. The unique smell of authentic food being prepared in the wood fire would increase your apetite. The activities carried out by the locals and the tourists in Birethanti is also the view worth experiencing for a while. The trail gives you dual experience i.e. lavish rhododendron forest view and the steep upwards hill walk tiredness. The body starts draining out but the soul remains busy in the majestic view of the lust forests and the chirping sounds of birds on the route. The casual talk with the trekkers and porters on the way to Ghorepani would also gives you chance to explore the sociological and anthropological experience.

Day 04Trek from Ulleri (1,540m / 5,050ft) to Ghorepani (2,860m / 9,385ft)The unique smell of authentic food being prepared in the wood fire would increase your appetite. The activities carried out by the locals and the tourists in Birethanti is also the view worth experiencing for a while. The trail gives you dual experience i.e. lavish rhododendron forest view and the steep upwards hill walk tiredness. The casual talk with the trekkers and porters on the way to Ghorepani would also give you the chance to explore the sociological and anthropological experience.

Day 05Early morning hike to Poon Hill viewpoint (3,210m / 10,525ft) , then trek to Tadapani (2,630m / 8,630ft)The main feature of this part of the trek is the opportunity to see the sunrise from Poon Hill. We recommend fellow trekkers to move early to Poon Hill for the earliest view of sunrays in the snow capped mountains like Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m.), Tukuche Peak (6920m.), Nilgiri (6940m.), VarahaShikhar (7847m.), Mt. Annapurna I (8091m.), Annapurna South (7219m.), Annapurna III (7855m.), Machhapuchhre (6993m.), Annapurna IV (7525m.), Annapurna II (7937m.), LamjungHimal (6931m.) and other numerous snowcapped mountain peaks. We again descend back to Ghorepani for breakfast and get ready for trek Ghorepani to Tadapani (2650 m.). The Tadapani is gradual descend of 2-4 hrs downhill along the Gurung community settlement. The settlement in this route is scarce and can only be found in some parts only.

Day 06Trek from Tadapani (2,630m / 8,630ft) to Chomrong (2,165m / 7,105ft)After having the amazing experience of remote village settlement in Chomrong we take our trek to Himalaya. The Chomrong gave us the plenty of eye solution including paddy fields, corn fields, buckwheat fields, forests, rivers and hills while this part of trek slowly takes us nearer towards the snow capped mountains. The views of Mountains seems nearer than ever in this part of the trekking.

Day 07Trek from Chomrong (2,165m / 7,105ft) to Himalaya (2,890m / 9,425ft)This part of the trek is very nice and beautiful. The jungle walk all the way for up to 45 minutes will take us to the village called Bamboo,Dovan and further we trek we reach to the village called Himalaya. The lunch will be provided in either of these places.

Day 08Trek from Himalaya (2,890m / 9,425ft) to ABC (4,130m / 13,550ft) via Machhapuchhare Base CampTrek from Himalaya to Annapurna Base Camp (4130 m.) and it takes about 6 hours. From here onwards the green pastures starts to disappear and the route gets widen because this is the entry point of Annapurna Sanctuary the world famous conservation area. The base camp gives us the panoramic views of mountains up close. We will rest overnight in the base camp beside the splendid partnership of Machhapuchhre, Dhaulagiri and Annapurna peaks then gets ready for next day’s trip.

Day 09Trek from ABC (4,130m / 13,550ft) to Bamboo (2,350m / 7,700ft)Early morning we trek downhill to Bamboo. As the trail is to descend so it won't be tiresome as previous days’ trek however the majestic landscape will always cheer us up.

Day 10Trek from Bamboo (2,350m / 7,700ft) to Jhinu Danda (1,780m / 6,393ft) and nearby natural hot springsThis part of trek is the combination of uphill and downhill trek. We trek uphill until Kuldighar and then descend to Jhinu Danda (jhinu hill). There we will let go our all the trekking pain by enjoying in the hot springs.

Day 11Trek from Jhinu Danda (1,780m / 6,393ft) to Siwa/Ghandruk Phedi (1,150m / 3,770ft) and drive to Pokhara (820m) via NayapulFrom Jhinu Danda there are lots of other options like syauli Bazar but we will descend towards Pokhara which will take around 6 hours.

Day 12Drive back from Pokhara to Kathmandu.Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu in the selected luxurious vehicle gives you the trailers of things to come in our journey. As we set our journey from the Pokhara along the Trishuli and Marshyangdi river amidst green forests.

Day 13Departure to final Destination (Farewell)We always feel very sad at this very juncture that our companion of trekking for the moment ends here and in the meantime we also feel relaxed that we were able to serve you with the best trekking experience that you ever get in your lifetime while trekking. Welcome to Nepal!!! Upon arrival in Tribhuwan International Airport Backpacker’s Airport Representatives will pick you up. The travelling plans and agenda’s will be discussed.

Lodging 

Backpacker believes in providing home away from home experience for our valued guests. The accommodation in Kathmandu would be of your choice and level. However, the usual accommodation provided by the company is three star or similar upscale Hotel in downtown. The lodging in trekking would be clearly mentioned in itinerary.

Meals and drinking Water

The meal in Kathmandu would just be a Breakfast as the lodging in Kathmandu is of B&B (Bed and Breakfast) type. While trekking we provide breakfast, lunch and dinner to our guest. The quantity of the food would be unlimited and will be assisted by our guides for the selection of food. The varieties in food would depend on season and availability. However Soup, Noodles, Rice and Seasonal Veggies are common in the trekking area. For breakfast we provide bread, eggs and cereals. We provide necessary assistance while purchasing the water, biscuits, and tender beverages at shops in the location. There are some safe drinking public taps in the trekking area where our guides will escort you.You could purchase bottled mineral water or ask to fill your bottle with boiled water on the accommodation.

Visa requirement
