Day 01Arrival Kathmandu & transfer to hotel.Upon arrival at Kathmandu, Backpacker Expedition Treks Pvt. Ltd will be your trustworthy travel companion until you depart for your home country. We will accommodate our valued customers in the three-star hotel in Kathmandu. We take care of the room and breakfast of our valued customers during their stay in Kathmandu Valley.
Day 02Drive Kathmandu to Syabrubesi (1460m)Wake up at early in the morning. Have a breakfast at the lodging. Appreciate seven our picturesque drive through Trishuli Valley with towns, stream, and mountains. You will become to at Syabrubeshi (1,420m) around 2 or 3 o'clock. Whatever remains of the day is free.
Day 03Trek to Lama hotel (2340m)Today after breakfast your trek starts. You start your walking at your own pace and the trail ascends for around two hours through the forest followed by a climb of about an hour to reach Bamboo village (1,850m/6,068ft) where you'll stop for lunch. This forested path with well-stabilized trails and following the upstream and can be seen birds life around the bushes. Bee hives hanging on a cliff are another attraction for the visitors. From here you will again steeply climb through the bamboo forest to reach the Lama Hotel (2560m) where you'll rest and overnight at a local teahouse. -
Day 04Trek to Langtang VillageTrekking Trail follows Gumanech ok, Ghoda Tabela . After this the trail is slightly gradual up and beautiful view in the valley with the grazing Yaks. Langtang village is one of the local and old villages along this trekking route and the view from here is more mesmerising. -
Day 05Trek to Kyanjing Gompa (3730m)At starting climbs gradually Passing the Laja Khola then climbs a moraine to a viewpoint where you can look Kyanjing Gompa and the dramatic icefall flowing from Langtang Lirung. After Kyanjing Gompa, hiking to Kyankin Ri (4773m) and trek back to Kyanjing Gompa.
Day 06Trek to Ganjala Base Campwe start on our today's journey to Ganja La Phedi. Cross the Langtang River. Ascend through rhododendron forests. Since we're already at high altitude, the time for getting to our destination also depends on upon the season of the trek. Since, during the winter snow, it might take the longer time to cross the snow-strewn path.
Day 07Trek to Ganjala Pass/ChermangDingma we cross the Ganja La pass. It'd be a strenuous day since Ganja La is one of the difficult passes. Ganja la pass is covered with snow almost throughout the year. Make the long ascent through the boulders, pass the small lakes, and summit the Ganja La which situated on a rocky moraine. Enjoy the spectacular views from the pass. Climbing up and down the pass can sometimes be tricky due to snowfall and ice. From the pass, we descend down to Keldang.
Day 08Trek to Yak KharkaTrek from Keldang to Yak Kharka. From Keldang, we descend further down following a prominent ridge line. In our 5-6 hrs trek today, we continue losing our altitude through forests, ridges, and grasslands.
Day 09Trek to TarkegyangTrek to Tarkeghyang and it takes five hours. The morning part of the trek walk down until you cross the Melamchi stream.and rek gently up to Tarkeghyang crossing through Sherpa village. Tarkeghyang is a nice and beautyful Sherpa comunity with one of the big and old monasteries. Tarkeghyang, also popular as the Helmu caste.
Day 10Trek to Sermathang (2590 m)Trek to Shermathang it takes four hours. This day the way is more easier through flat land with green forests on the way. You trek on passing some rivers on the way. There is located a beautiful settelement on the half way to Shermathang.Shermathang is next beautyful Sherpa village where you can visit many ancient monasteries.
Day 11Trek to Melamchi Bazaar and Drive to Kathmanduwalk down to Melamchi Pul Bazaar along with a lot of Sherpa houses and take a car to Katmandu.
Day 12Departure "farewell" We always feel very sad at this very juncture that our companion of trekking for the moment ends here and in the meantime we also feel relaxed that we were able to serve you with the best trekking experience that you ever get in your lifetime while trekking. Lodging
Backpacker believes in providing home away from home experience for our valued guests. The accommodation in Kathmandu would be of your choice and level. However, the usual accommodation provided by the company is three star or similar upscale Hotel in downtown. The lodging in trekking would be clearly mentioned in itinerary.
Meals and drinking Water
The meal in Kathmandu would just be a Breakfast as the lodging in Kathmandu is of B&B (Bed and Breakfast) type. While trekking we provide breakfast, lunch and dinner to our guest. The quantity of the food would be unlimited and will be assisted by our guides for the selection of food. The varieties in food would depend on season and availability. However Soup, Noodles, Rice and Seasonal Veggies are common in the trekking area. For breakfast we provide bread, eggs and cereals. We provide necessary assistance while purchasing the water, biscuits, and tender beverages at shops in the location. There are some safe drinking public taps in the trekking area where our guides will escort you.You could purchase bottled mineral water or ask to fill your bottle with boiled water on the accommodation.
