Day 2 of my trip to Lake Rara
Rara is regarded as the (स्वर्गकि अप्सरा Rara/ nymph of heaven) . Rara is the country's smallest national park located in the far northwestern part of Nepal. Despite being the country's smallest National park it never ceases to amaze the visitors with it's eye-catching beauty. Talking about it's location rara national park is located in the jumla and mugu district of Karnali province of Nepal. Rara Lake is the deepest lake (167 m) at an altitude of 2990 m and one of the most pristine. Surrounded by green hills and forest on all sides of the jungle surrounded by juniper trees, there is also space for hiking to the top of the hills to see the spectacular scenery and from the entire lake you can see the incredible mountain views from the top of the hill called Manma top. Rara is the largest fresh water lake in the Nepalese Himalayas, we can also say the virgin place of Nepal for the tourist, also local visitor. The best time to visit the park is in spring.
The park is surrounded by numerous forms of alpine vegetation and provides a representative sample of Karnali flora and fauna. More than 400 different kinds of flowers, 20 mammal species and more than 200 bird species. As for lake life, one of the fish varieties recorded in the lake is the snow trout.
Yeah, my friend and I enjoyed a lot including boating, horse riding hiking to Manma top to see the beautiful scenery of the mountain on the green jungle with the largest blue water lake had great time with the local people. But the suggestions I have to ask people who really want to experience the place of the virgin! There are not many teahouses near the lake, yes, there is the teahouse and resort, of course, but it will be difficult to get the room even have the home stay just two resort lakeside in the pick season, but you have to walk 15 minutes from the lake, I would say not enough. There are so many local tourists in the season, so if you really want to go, you've got to book before you go if possible.
We really enjoyed the place that is my dream land, so I am really pleased to visit it personally. Amazing people in a new location and beautiful weather with cold thin air with the cool sunny shine. We visited the very local and organic locality village called Manma village the day after hiking. To reach the village it takes half an hour from the lake by walking .Wow, you will see the original karnali regions in that village and you can really see the life style of the people and the virgin karnali homes. You can see the emotions of people and the innocent faces of the village with very different language. You will know about the actual face of people living in the remote mountains and the countryside in Nepal if you visit this place once.
My trip to Rara was short and sweet because it was only three day trip but the memories i gathered will always be precious and i will cherish these moments for the rest of my life.
